Catch them while you can! Allegiant, SFB’s #1 Carrier offers some incredible summer destinations, but they won’t be here come fall, so book now for that family getaway.

Las Vegas, Nevada

Vegas in summer may be HOT, but the attractions are very cool! After discovering that Sin City has become Family Friendly, we took our teenagers last summer. After a two night trip to the Grand Canyon, where we stayed in a very Instagram worthy Dome Hotel, we saw Maroon 5 at MGM’s Dolby Live which is a smaller venue and you feel very close for the ticket price.

Rapid City, South Dakota

One of my favorite trips as a child. Mt. Rushmore is truly impressive. After the history lesson, there are plenty of nearby adventures including ziplines and an Alpine Slide built to keep families in the National Park Area. August 2-11 is the time to go or avoid depending on what phenomenon you’d like to see, as 500,000 bikers descend on the town of Sturgis.

Key West, Florida

Take a bike ride through this historical treasure where you can see the resident roosters and 6 toed cats who live outside Ernest Hemingway’s house. Mallory Square at Sunset is a mini Carnival like no other. But the ultimate family experience is the boat ride and snorkeling at Dry Tortugas National Park, a military outpost built during the colonization of Florida to defend against enemies… including Pirates!

Provo, Utah

Rocky Mountain Canyons and Beautiful Rivers are the playground for this true mountain Trip. You can hike, bike, raft or climb to your heart’s content! The hike to Bridal Veil Falls is moderate. Provo Canyon has Class II rapids, or if you want a leisurely float, tube Weber River. Fun family bonding experience is the CLAS Ropes Course.

Niagara Falls, Toronto

It’s Niagara Falls… nuff said. But crossing over to Toronto is a great introduction to an international city. It’s like a much cleaner New York City with great walking neighborhoods and some of the best restaurants in the world.

Little Rock, Arkansas

Arkansas? Yes, Arkansas! Just an hour away is the historic town of Hot Springs, where people flocked to in the 1890’s to take in the medicinal mineral baths. It’s now a spa town surrounded by incredible nature. Mountain biking and hiking can be found around any town, but the most unique natural wonder is near Mt. Ida. The largest crystal beds in the world created 600 million years ago. Let the family dig for their own Quartz treasures.
